Community Guidelines

SponsorMyStartup works because people trust it. These guidelines keep it a genuine, safe place for small businesses to ask for what they need and for supporters to help. Breaking them can lead to content removal or account suspension.

Be a real business

Only create a page for a legitimate small business you actually run or are authorized to represent. No fake fronts, no impersonating other businesses or people, and no misleading claims about who you are.

Be honest about your needs

List real items your business needs, with accurate titles, prices, and links. Do not exaggerate, invent urgency, or ask for support under false pretenses.

No prohibited items

Do not list any of the following: Weapons, Controlled substances, Alcohol, Tobacco & nicotine, Illegal items, Adult content, Gambling, Stolen or counterfeit products. Wishlists are for lawful business needs only.

No harassment

Treat other members with respect. Harassment, hate speech, threats, and abusive content are not allowed anywhere on the platform.

Keep it legal

Follow all applicable laws. Do not use SponsorMyStartup to solicit investment, offer equity or securities, run a scam, or facilitate any illegal activity.
